The tonfa (or traditional police baton) is a weapon of the Japanese martial arts. Typically 24 inches in length, the tonfa features a side handle. It is an extremely versatile defensive weapon and can be used to protect against a swung blunt object or a sharp weapon.
This tonfa or police baton is 21 inches long and made of aircraft aluminum. It is expandable and has a rubber grip handle for a secure grip. When closed it measures only 12 inches. The side handle can be removed to form a baton.
