Amarillo Sky Damascus Steel Handcrafted Pocket Knife. There are several advantages to owning a gut hook. For instance field dressing wild game, a large belly for slicing or skinning, and thicker blades. This gut hook is made from Damascus steel in a random pattern design. The flowing rippling effect like water is just lovely. Fire forged with 176 layers and tempered at around 54 to 55. The handleís interior frame is constructed of brass with a liner locking mechanism. The chisel work with diamond cuts gives this piece an added sparkle. Hands free file work can be noticed on the spine in a diamond pattern running the length of the handle. Damascus steel bolsters have been added to match the blade. Bone plates have been inserted and stained a beautiful burnt orange with a matching mosaic pin featured in the center. Included is a hand sewn leather sheath that has been stained and treated. On the front there is a stag design and a tooled basket weave pattern because why should this knife have all the glory. The sheath comes with a snap closure and a belt loop on the back.
