American Bladesmith Damascus Folding Pocket Knife. Built solid to last and made of quality materials this is a knife you will treasure. It comes in a drop point style blade with a twist pattern. The Damascus steel used has been tempered at around 54 to 55 with 176 blade layers. Known the world over for its strength and beauty Damascus steel can be easily identified by their distinct patterned blade. Featured on the blade near the spine is a thumb stud for opening. Adoring the spine is a free handed file work in a diamond pattern that runs down into the handle. The frame and liner lock also comes with decorative file work and is constructed of brass for a stunning array of colors and textures. All four bolsters are made from Damascus steel as well to match the blade and the blue center handle slabs are bone. The bone has been smoothed and polished with a vibrant blue stain. In the middle on each side is a decorative mosaic pin. The sheath that is included is a hand sewn and made of real leather. A snap closure adorns the front with a belt loop on the back and to top it all there is a stag pictured on the front with a lovely tooled basket weave design.
