Kijiro Sword And Sheath - High Carbon Spring Steel. The Kijiro Sword is a completely resilient and reliable katana that can take the stresses other swords may not be able to take without breaking. The sword has a keenly sharp, hand-forged 27 3/4î high carbon, spring steel blade that extends from a bright brass habaki. Among the toughest of all high carbon steels, ìspringî steel is renowned for its incredible yield strength, unmatched deformation resistance and astounding ability to return to its original shape after being subjected to extreme bending, twisting and other stress. The handle is tightly wrapped in black faux leather and features a gold faux leather accent woven vertically through. The cast metal tsuba is a solid design featuring swords and the pommel is cast metal with a dogwood flower design. The 38 1/2î overall katana can be carried in a black leather sheath, which has an adjustable nylon shoulder strap.
