Damascus Steel Bourbon Bayou Lever Lock Knife. The blade on this knife is made from Damascus steel with a handsome Random pattern of swirls and ripples.  The Damascus used is constructed from 1095/15N20 alloy steel that has been tempered around 54 to 55 with 176 blade layers. This custom blade compliments the rich brown wooden handle.  The wood you see here is made from sheesham.  The wood grain is just stunning.  All the mounts are custom made.  Each piece has been stained and sealed. Decorative brass spacers separate each segment. Brass pins hold the handle to the genuine brass frame.  Both bolsters are brass as well and so is the lever actuator. Press the actuator down to release the blade.  The automatic function allows fast deployment for fast use. True to the original design the paddle moves freely up and down with no stiffness. The spine has exquisite craftsman file work to add individuality to the piece. Take this blade hunting, camping, or for everyday carry it is versatile for all situations.
