Excellent Quality Knife at Great Price This is a very high-quality knife. The weight and balance are perfect, the fit and finish would make it equally as comfortable in a display case as it would be in an outdoorsman's sheath, the factory edge is quite sharp, only requiring a few strokes on a whetstone to bring it to razor-sharpness, and it even comes with a hole in the end of the handle for a lanyard. I'm actually surprised at how well this knife is made, given that it was made in China.

This Elk Ridge knife ER148 is well balanced and holds a good edge. If any one is looking for a knife with a sharp edge and good feel when using it well this knife is the one. It makes a great gift, and one that will last for some time to come. it would have been good to have a leather sheath to make it feel like an old west knife.
