The blade is stainless steel with a black anodized finish and comes in a bayonet style. This knife is one solid stiletto with a fast and flawless opening action. The handle has a brass frame with brass pins.  The mounts are ABS with a checkered finish.  On top of the handle features a release and a safety lock. Push on the silver button to release the powerful automatic spring loaded blade. After you finish using, push on the left guard downwards and release the super sharp blade back into the position of the handle.
