The unique design nests a 1 3/4îmagnesium fire rod inside a tapered diamond sharpener and all are inside the CNC machined, solid 6061-T6 aluminum carbide sharpener body. The 3 3/10î 320 mesh tapered and grooved diamond rod sharpens serrations, hooks and pointed instruments and the tungsten carbide sharpener sharpens all plain edged knives. Each component has precision machined threads and an outer ñOî ring.
