Best Defense Bowie Knife

The Best Defense Knife Series this is the largest of it group 14" overall approx. 12ounces in weight. This knife has a massive 9 3/4" 440 stainless steel thick blade. the blade is very sharp and on top you have the deep sharp serrated part of the blade/ The metal guard measures 3" long by 3/16" thick. The Handle is rubber for sure grip. the endcap is of the same metal as the guard. This also has a heavy black nylon sheath with strap down and belt loop.     Good steel and solid construction I have been able to get these 440 steel blades to "razor blade" levels of sharpness using a belt grinder (120grit) and dmt diamond stones; (320grit-blue);(600grit-red);(1000grit-green); the edges held up acceptably even at the acute edge angle I prefer to use. handle and guards are tight and do not loosen with repeated impacts. serrations on spine are very sharp and will draw blood with very slight pressure. the samples I have examined have all been precisely ground and consistent in geometry. these are the particulars, in general, I am satisfied with this product.
