This axe has an ABS handle that is hollowed out for a compartment that the saw slides into.  At the bottom of the handle is a snap closure to keep the saw from coming out.  The hard sheath is constructed of the same material as the handle and it has a belt clip and handle for easy carrying.  The sheath has a compartment for the flint and keeps the axe in place with a slide lock.   The bit and poll is constructed of steel with a black anodized finish.  The poll is flat and can be used as a hammer if need be.
