The reputation of Damascus steel for flair stretches back centuries. The mystery and intrigue about these blades have led to several legends. One legend says that these blades were quenched in dragons blood but never mind that. We do know that these blades come in an array of stunning patterns and are usually partnered with quality materials. They also are able to retain an edge longer. This blade is made of course from Damascus steel as you can see from the easily recognizable watery or ''damask'' pattern. The style of pattern used here is Random and featured at the top of this blade is a thumb notch and stud. Exquisite custom file work runs along the spine down into the handle. The frame and liner lock are produced from brass with artistic file work too. The handle is polished bone that has been stained a vibrant blue with copper bolsters. Each bolster has a silver finish with a lovely floral design. But this Artisan didnt stop there, oh no.
